Astoria Park Hawk Release 6-13

The first eyas to fledge the nest at Astoria Park injured itself upon landing and ended up in the hands of rehabilitators Bobby and Cathy Horvath. After two weeks of rest and good meals it was time to return this male fledgling, name Sal by Bobby and Cathy's daughter Sadie, to his family. His two siblings managed to fledge successfully and one of them came by to welcome Sal back to the fold.
