Possible Woodside Fledgling Sighting
I was woken from a late afternoon nap today by a murder of angry crows. They were harassing another bird on the top the building adjacent to mine. A closer look from my fire escape revealed it to be a hawk. By the time I got to my camera the hawk was gone. I decided to go to a nearby park to see if I could locate the hawk. As I approached the park I heard the cry of a hawk fledgling. I'm not 100% sure of the fledglings origin, but it could possibly be the Woodside Houses bird. The father is known to frequent the area, so its quite likely his offspring has followed him here. Sorry for the bad picture quality, it was late when I found the bird and it spent most of the time high up in a Sweet Gum tree and on a nearby fire escape. It's probably still sleeping there now.
