Images from Central Park, 12-10-10

Here are a few images from Central Park this past Friday. Overall a good day for Raptor watching, I managed to spot 3 Red-tailed Hawks, 2 juvenile Coopers Hawks and a Sharp-shinned hawk.

 Mature (female?) RTH

 I thought she was looking for her next meal

 Instead, she was looking to chase this immature RTH (male?) out of her winter feeding territory

 He quickly retreated North, not to be seen again
